Learning to DJ is about more than pressing play. At First Spin, students learn how to listen, prepare, create, communicate, perform and lead.
Our hands-on summer program introduces young people to professional DJ skills while building confidence, discipline, creativity and entrepreneurial thinking. No prior DJ experience is required — and because access matters, First Spin is offered to participating families at no cost.

Meet DJ ReRe

First Spin was founded by professional DJ and entrepreneur DJ ReRe. Her journey into DJing began without easy access to equipment, mentors or a clear roadmap. She learned by doing.
Today, she uses her industry experience to create the type of learning environment she wishes had existed when she started — helping young people develop DJ skills, confidence, professionalism, creativity and entrepreneurial thinking.
